"Knox Morgan 4677, a bay foaled May 1891; bred by Augustus Dunlap, Brunswick, Maine; got by Mountaineer Morgan 4469; dam was bred by Augustus Dunlap, got by Sagadahoc 881; 2nd dam said to be by Ethan Allen 50. He weighed 1,100 pounds and was 15.2 hands high. Notice the naturally high tail carriage. Knox Morgan had wonderful all around action and naturally fine style.
